My Cryo Chamber awakes me to make sure my ship is still on course... I crawl out and look around... Everything is functioning without a glitch... I check the news feeds and nothing notable has occurred...
In conversations with other TE3K players, we've come to the conclusion that the game needs an injection of caffeine or something... I have offered adding destructive ideas in the past to light the fires. Others have offered their ideas, things like "Festival" from the classic TE. We wait and hope patiently for something that will add more excitement to the game...
No one likes drama, but really we could use some at the game level to get people excited, big dramatic events within the game between players. Yes we can randomly sabotage and randomly bribe. But what if you could chose your target? Yes, I see the problem with people with a lot of alts, picking on a soul player. But we need something more that gets players more interactive.
If you have any wild and crazy ideas to fire up TE3K please add them in the comments here. You can post anonymously.
I wonder over to my command chair and sit... file my nails, which have not stopped growing while in the Cryo Chamber, and wait...

Current Guild Rankings
Guild Rankings and Leaders as of November 26th, 2012
Been a few shifts from the last rankings report, Supernova has fallen to the minors and appears some of the people from there left and have joined a couple of other guilds.
*On the standing page main map it shows Hera as ranked 22, but shows it also ranked lower on the minors page. Hera is kept on the main map for historical reasons, being first guild, so it's ranked incorrectly to keep it on the main map. Its proper rank is shown here.

Report From the Cryo Chamber
I awake from my cryo chamber and look around with blurry eyes... Seems that there has been little change in the universe for a millennium and wonder, Space is so big, people are spread into the far depths, light years away from each other. There must be a place we can meet, a neutral zone... Occasionally I see life on the official "Tiny Empires 3000" Group comm channel and the official "TE3000 Directors Alliance" Group channel. The only place where you might run into another player is the Tiny Empires Upgrade Station, but if you loiter around there, you could be accused of recruiting, which is not allowed there. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a place for us to meet and hangout and not worry about being accused of recruiting. As of this writing I know of no such place.
There are several unofficial groups related to Tiny Empires 3000, some who are "free speech" and or "recruiting groups," but they tend to be small and very quiet.
So wouldn't it be nice if there was a Neutral Help Center, maybe like a Star Wars bar, where we can meet and offer help to new players and get to know each other better? Maybe even pick up a subordinate...
Maybe I'm dreaming and I really didn't wake up from my cryo sleep...

The Black (Loop) Hole
Many of us know that in Tiny Empires 3000, that once your a Guild Leader, there is no easy way to abdicate or pass your guild on to a subordinate under you. Unlike the classic game of Tiny Empires which does have abdication, which subjects the Monarch wishing to abdicate, to a number negative effects within the game. But some do decide to take this course of action and quite often, someone under them takes control of their kingdom.
There is no formal way to abdicate in Tiny Empires 3000. There are several Minor Guilds whose Guild Leaders have basically quit playing and cut their subordinates loose to pursue their own dreams. But if you really want to quit playing Tiny Empires 3000, Ultralite Soleil will grant you a request to be removed from the game. Now if your a Guild Leader, your Guild will cease to exist, your subordinates will end up without a superior, and you, if you decide to play Tiny Empires 3000 ever again will have to get a new HUD and start from scratch, all over again. I also suspect, that if you were able to form a new Guild again, you probably won't be allowed to reuse the same Guild name you used previously.
Basically what this sounds like to me is, it is like setting your Guild on a course into a Black Hole in space. Everyone gets sucked into the Black Hole, nothing comes out...The only evidence that your Guild ever existed, maybe a footnote on the Tiny Empires 3000 Wiki or in a past post on this Blog...

From the Shadows Emerges Tunaverse Immortalis!
September 16th, 2012 the Tunaverse Immortalis Guild is formed by Guild Leader The Wizard of Odd (tuna.oddfellow). "I ascended from Shadow Guild at August 3019," he said from his tuna can... err Starbase.
Tuna had this to say on his ascension:
Congratulations to Guild Leader Tuna Oddfellow and his new Guild, Tunaverse Immortalis!
Tuna had this to say on his ascension:
"It has been a true delight spending the time I have had with Shadow Guild. Now it is time to spread our wings. I am so proud of the commitment of those who are joining us. This is our ascension and they share in the success. I could not do it with out them.Tuna also claims to be somewhat famous:
Long live Tunaverse Immortalis"
"My avatar won Avatars Got Talent in 2007 and appeared on America's Got Talent on NBC and I won a million Linden dollars which was the largest prize in Second Life back in the day... My life is stranger than fiction.Million SL Dollars... think that's about $1000 US.... Probably wrong, math is my weakness.
Congratulations to Guild Leader Tuna Oddfellow and his new Guild, Tunaverse Immortalis!
